These Terms and conditions apply for everyonepurchasing ARNE AKSEL products or any transaction between the customer and ARNEAKSEL - whether it is online or physical.
ARNE AKSEL is a design company creatingcampaigns in different settings, different lighting and with edited images. Wedo, however, always strive to use the best possible equipment to provide a holistic view of how our productslook in different environments and in different settings.
Payment methods include - Dankort, Visa, MasterCard, Visa Electron.
Online
ARNE AKSEL reserves the right to accept,refuse, cancel or hold any order you place with us. Once we’ve received yourorder, you’ll receive an order confirmation email that indicates the ordernumber and contains information about the details of your order and theexpected delivery timeline.
Physical
ARNE AKSEL reserves the right to accept,refuse, cancel or hold any order you place with us. Once you have accepted theoffer, you’ll receive an invoice summarizing your order. When payment has beenreceived, your curtains will be put into production and the expected lead timeof 20-25 days starts. ARNE AKSEL always strives to deliver and fityour curtains within 20-25 working days, after payment has been received.Longer lead time is to be expected in busy periods. All curtains are deliveredand fitted by Arne Aksel employees to ensure you get the best possibleexperience.
Below you can see the shipping prices thatapply depending on where you are shipping to – please note that additionalcosts, such as customs and import fees are only due for customers purchasingfrom outside the EU.

* Packages to outside the EU are delivered DDU(Door Delivery Duty Unpaid) and may be delayed in customs
PLEASE NOTE: All orders within EU will include25% VAT (DK tax) – the Danish VAT of 25% is deducted on international orders(outside EU).
Please note that any extra taxes and/or dutiesdue to the destination country are the responsibility of the customer.

FLOATING
The finish is 1cm above the floor. The lengthscan vary from 0.1cm above the floor to 2.5 cm above the floor.
FLOORING
The finish is 4cm on the floor. The lengthscan vary from 2.5 cm on the floor up to 5.5 cm on the floor.
Curtains that live up to these criteria(intervals) are considered ‘perfect’ and ARNE AKSEL is not adjusting norreturning curtains that live up to this.
Be aware that fabrics are a ‘living’material, meaning that some natural stretch and slight variation in length(+/-1,5 cm) can occur. The specified width of curtains is approximate.
Miscolours and/or stains
If the customer finds any stains ormiscolours in the fabric, or if the fabric in some way evolves differently thanexpected from a ‘living material’ the Danish ‘Købelov’ and ‘rights ofcomplaint’ apply providing consumers 2 years of complaint period from thedelivery date.
Measurements
If Complaints about measurements that conflictwith ARNE AKSEL’s finish definitions of FLOATING and FLOORING as described‘Curtain measurements (Heights)’, is given to ARNE AKSEL within 30 days afterdelivery, ARNE AKSEL will adjust (not return) the curtain so it aligns with thefinish description.
If the complaint arrives at ARNE AKSEL after30 days, ARNE AKSEL is not responsible for adjusting the delivered curtains.This is due to the nature of textile as a living material (see Fabric / Livingmaterial)
Measurements made by the customer
ARNE AKSEL does not take responsibilityfor measurements made by the customer. We do, however, always strive to guidethe customer at our best to ensure correct measurements. If the customer is indoubt, ARNE AKSEL recommends setting up an online consultation - ARNE AKSELloves to guide our customers.
Rails falling down
ARNE AKSEL provides fitting of theabsolute highest standard and service. All ceilings are unique and sometimesrails happen to fall down. ARNE AKSEL refit curtain rails that have fallen downdue to natural causes within 6 weeks. Rails that have been fallen down forunnatural causes are out of ARNE AKSEL’s responsibility, and ARNE AKSEL doesnot refit these rails.
No returns
We always design our curtains on amade-to-measure and made-to-order basis - no standard measurements andsolutions. Therefore, ARNE AKSEL does not accept returns or cancellations. Incase of any manufacturing or weaving faults (see miscolours and stains), wewill re-deliver your curtains without extra charge (see Claims)
Moving curtains
ARNE AKSEL is a design companyspecialised in creating atmosphere in fabrics. Therefore, ARNE AKSEL does notcommit to move curtains in the case of the customers private movement plans.Our fitting and delivery service is a service provided primarily for new ARNEAKSEL curtains and not after sales service.
